Contains no duplicates. First checked with Duplicate File Detector using MD5 and a few other hash-sums and then manually. Yes, manually.

In fact, this is the site which inspired me to collect and share such a gigantic collection.

ahhh Korochko thanks for the heads up on your future torrent hehehe ^^ anyways using a duplicate image detector that uses hash is not that reliable in.. well finding duplicates (any little change on the picture will create a new hash), try something like visipics, its a bit better hehehe have a good one ^-^

ohh and the site has been attacked a lot (with cp, spam and such), so we now do things like locking boards (only admins can post) for random times (hours or days), so of course that doesn't help with regular posting heheh, still traffic is still strong and at least the site still has quality ^^

Scanning with VisiPics now, but while adding the folders to check, I saw that it doesn't support unicode paths. I have a gargantuan manga collection, most of which still has the Japanese directories so if it can't read unicode it's still only half the battle. As I said though, I check random folders manually on occasion and really keep it strict outside the manga section. (B/W versions of images are deleted over color ones depending on noise quality etc.)
I'm also filtering out very poor quality images with larger than required file sizes, such as a 300x300 JPG image at 900KB. If the quality is still perfect, I'll optimize it. If the quality is poor, I'll look for another or dump it entirely.

Still a vast collection though! :D
